Social participation is essential for successful school participation. This course is for educators who are interested in developing their knowledge and skills around supporting social participation for their students.
The Road to Regulation in the Classroom: How to pave the way for success
This workshop will explore evidence-based tools required to create a classroom environment which fosters positive behaviours. How adults lay these foundations plays a critical role in supporting children to develop their self-regulation skills.
The Road to Regulation in the Classroom: Sensory Processing
Well regulated bodies contribute to successful engagement in learning within the classroom. By understanding the sensory needs of children, and having a bank of tools that you can utilise, you can create a calm classroom where all students learn.
The Road to Regulation in the Classroom: Emotional Regulation
Managing big emotions plays a large role in a student’s overall ability to regulate their behaviours in the classroom. By creating a classroom that supports development of emotional regulation, students will feel safe and ready to learn!
The Road to Regulation in the Classroom: Executive Functioning
Executive functions are pivotal to our everyday functioning and ability to self-regulate. Through building your understanding of executive functioning and learning new strategies, you can optimise the participation of all students in the classroom.
Taught by our fantastic instructors!

Hi there, I'm Caitlin and I have been working at Kid Link OT since 2017. Since working for Kid Link, I have developed a keen interest in supporting families to address goals relating to their child's regulation, executive functioning and mental health. Additionally, I am particularly passionate about increasing the capacity and confidence of parents/ carers and their support network in addressing their OT goals through education and coaching. I currently hold a caseload of children aged between 3 and 18. In addition to this, I regularly develop and facilitate webinars and in-person workshops and presentations, and supervise internal and external OT's. I look forward to meeting you through our community here!
